Business must-haves change so often. A few decades back, it was a landline phone. It was followed by not-so-handy mobile phones and beepers. Today, it is necessary for business owners to have smartphones and tablets in order to maximize every single hour of the day.

Because the trend is towards mobility, developers have showered this world with a lot of laptops, tablets, and smartphones which make people feel and believe that the world is at the tip of their fingers. True enough they showed consumers and business owners alike that making transactions is as easy as one click or swipe. In the haystack of these gadgets, one seems to standout, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13. This is more commonly known as ‘the world’s first multi-mode Ultrabook’.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 has a thin, sleek, and light design. It only weighs 3.3 lbs. and is only 0.67 inches thick despite having a 13-inch 10-point multi touch display. What makes this more unique than other gadgets is that it has the ability to flip the screen into a number of varied positions. Whether you like it flat or standing high, this IdeaPad can surely go with your moods. No, it’s not just a tablet. Neither is it just a laptop. It is a tablet and a laptop in one.

Despite being lightweight, this Ultrabook is not short so short of features that enables business owners to synchronize all business gadgets. It has a 4-in-one card reader which can accommodate SD, SDHC, SDXC, and MMC. It has a headset jack which makes it easy for business owners to respond to voice mail. It also has an HDMI and two USB ports. Although it lacks an Ethernet jack, built-in DVD drive and a VGA port, it has all the connections necessary for a business owner to continue his job even on a boat, a plane or on a long drive.

Because this IdeaPad is meant to assist business owners when doing their tasks while traveling, it should solve the problem of inconsistent image quality when the screen is viewed in various angles. Ever experienced putting your laptop on the passenger seat and trying to get a glimpse of the screen but all you see is either pure white, black or jagged images? This is because you are not on eye-level with the screen. Well, finally, there is a solution for this. The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 utilized IPS display panel which maintains the colors and screen brightness consistent regardless of the position or angle it is viewed. Aside from this, it has a 1600 x 900 pixels resolution which makes it very eyes-friendly.

When it comes to sound quality, this IdeaPad has a volume that is audible enough for a large meeting room. Moreover, Lenovo has teamed up with Dolby to have a Dolby Home Theatre v4 audio that gives its users am improved multimedia experience.

Again, this IdeaPad is also a laptop. Thus, it has a keyboard. However, its keyboard does not have flat keys. It uses the Chiclet or Island style keyboard with comfortable spacing between each key. Its keyboard, also known as Accu Type has a clean layout and rounded keys inspired by ergonomics that provide better typing accuracy to users.

As a tablet, it has a palm rejection sensor to avoid accidentally moving the cursor while typing. Moreover, Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 has a freeze/unfreeze screen feature that can be employed when used as a Windows desktop.
